Self Run

Sole Practitioner

I work as a sole practitioner, and therefore you get the benefit of talking to me directly before scheduling an appointment. I have found that my clients appreciate being able to call me if something new needs to be addressed prior to their appointment. There are not long wait times to speak to me directly, and you will never have to talk to a receptionist.

Cleveland Born & Raised

Knowledgeable of my hometown

Having grown up in Avon Lake, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland, I am very knowledgeable in regards to school systems and Cleveland supports and resources. I refer many of my clients to local psychiatrists, holistic services, support groups/IOP’s and other treatment programs. I feel that being raised in the Cleveland area, as well as now parenting in it, helps build a therapeutic rapport with clients.

Telehealth Counseling

Appointment Flexibility

I offer many types of counseling services to fit my client’s needs. After listening to my clients, I recently started offering online/long distance counseling services due to growing demand. My client’s take comfort in knowing that if they have to relocate, go off to college, and/or just want to have a confidential session in the convenience of their own home, that we can still connect.

Hours and Location

Appointment Flexibility

I have office hours on evenings and weekends to accommodate many of my clients who are working or in school. I am conveniently located in the heart of Westlake in Gemini Tower 1 off of Crocker Road.

Experience

A Decade Of Mental Health Work

I have worked in the field of mental health for over 10 years, and have a wide range of clinical expertise in chemical dependency/addiction issues, maternal depression, women’s issues, parenting/family conflict, relationship stress, anxiety (including panic disorders) and depression. I have a special interest in working with families affected by alcohol, and thoroughly enjoy working with college-age adults who are exploring their life/career goals.

Therapeutic Stance

Reach Your Goals Quicker

I learned in graduate school that the therapeutic relationship is the 2nd most important factor in reaching treatment goals (the 1st factor is you, the client, and your readiness for change). To reach a therapeutic relationship, I try to be genuine and authentic to ensure trust and openness. I strive to be humble in my approach with clients and promise that I will treat you with respect, and without judgement.
