About
Corrine Kisselle M.Ed, LPCC, LICDC
My philosophy as a counselor is to “meet you where you are at” while empowering you to explore goals that will lead you to experience hope and meaning in your life. I thoroughly enjoy helping people help themselves and become more self-aware of their thoughts and feelings.
I am dually licensed as a clinical therapist as well as a chemical dependency counselor. I have a special interest working with teens, college students and adults. I work with anxiety, depression, chemical dependency/abuse, relationship/family issues, postpartum & perinatal mental health, womens issues as well as parenting stress.
I believe that our perception is reality, and I use traditional forms of counseling such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help treat symptoms of anxiety and depression. I am also eclectic in my therapeutic techniques and use a variety of treatment approaches such as supportive, CBT, DBT/mindfulness, and empowerment through reality therapy.
